Description:
Hiked the trail on 7/21/2024. This is after some of the area burned in the 2022 Moose Fire. There are some significantly burned areas, some partial burn areas and some unburned areas, probably 60 percent unburned. I cleared sticks and rocks off the trail but did not do any sawing. There are probably 200 trees across the trail (rough estimate) but weren't too hard to get through hiking. The swampy area was still wet. All in all, a great non-motorized trail that could use some saw work. Had excellent views from the rocky knob just north of Haystack mtn on the Stormy Peak trail just above the upper end of this trail.
