Description:
I think most of this section has been cleared this year. We hiked from Schurchs tunnel to the Leadville cutoff today and clear about 25 downfall. There is an area, about a mile long just north of Schurchs tunnel that still has about 20 logs that can be easily stepped over. The 2 miles north of Champion Pass is clear as of 5 August. The middle area from Blizzard Hill to Schurchs Tunnel where most of it is clearings I don't think it has been cleared.
