you most likely missed the turn on lower telephone and ended up riding down the ridgeline which is not lower telephone and where the underground power line is. Lower telephone is not in bad shape at all. Rough around the edges from rains but does not have significant damage unlike the ridgeline which is an utter disaster but again not a trail.
