Description:
Quelle Mess! Some snow remaining at the very top but passable. This report is for the upper section only.
As per previous report, there are a significant number of large trees down that will require chainsaw removal.
I counted five locations,
>400 m in below the slabs
> 50 m beyond the creek fording (below the rock armoured switchbacks
>Another bunch 50 m below that
>Lower switchbacks large (40 cm) trees down and adjacent to trail but a lot of sweepers across the trail
>Across the exit onto FSR
I did hand remove a lot of the smaller stuff blocking the trail but there is still significant forest litter and small branches on the trail. Not recommended for riding unless you’re headed out to help with trail clean-up.
