Developing issue with the bench climbing out of the little gulch northbound. The shoring log has been dislodged, indeed it's positively cracked in two. While this can happen naturally, it hasn't been the case here. If you look in the photos, you can see the earth that had been packed against the log to form the bench is undisturbed. The log has been cleanly separated from it. As I speculate, that can only happen from the plant-kick of a trail runner.
