May 20, 2026 Loki's Trail Report

Loki is still available but the east end start point has been re-located due to the construction. New east end start point is on the 3 Sisters Parkway just west of where the paved path used to cross the Parkway. You have to find the double-track access road, take it south for about 30 meters, and then the new Loki access will appear to your right. Nothing is signed, as you would imagine.

The trail is currently clear of deadfall. The only obstruction now is the fence they put across the trail at the midway point, but that can be circumvented by either of 2 gates which are visible from where the trail is bisected. So, an easy workaround for the obstruction.

I have no idea if further restrictions are planned for the future for this trail, but Loki at it is now is still available, and it’s still an enjoyable ride even with the shorter route and that fence obstruction.

Loki can also be accessed a 3rd way at a midpoint location from a sea van located on the old abandoned ‘golf course’, but that is a bit hard to describe, but you can know that it does exist.
