Description:
Clear of deadfall. A little wet but not a problem. Did run into a blonde grizzly on the way up but he/she bolted in the opposite direction down the trail and subsequently disappeared into the brush. Make plenty of noise on the trail.
Most of the hikers I saw that day take the Lusk Trail Cutoff Trail and so don't seem to proceed southward beyond that point on this trail, so the trail beyond that point is probably mostly if not exclusively used by mountain bikers.
