Jul 11, 2026 Kachess Trail Report

All clear except for one blowdown that was there last year. Getting brushy in places especially the huckleberries near the top and in the lower avalanche meadows. Tread has been affected in places by a moto and some erosion from the winter rains, just be mindful there are some new/bigger holes and more loose rock this year. The rock garden as you first get into the lower switchbacks has changed a bit too.
