Some more info: The conservation officer advised WORCA that a cougar was sighted near Iceberg Lake, so they installed this sign to advise users to avoid the general area over the next few days. The trail isn't actually closed, but users should be aware.

Good to know! I was wondering where exactly the sighting was. It's a long way from Iceberg Lake to Lower Howler. Any idea of COS are trying to monitor the cougar's location and/or whether they think it will move along?

@callofthewildphotos: COS said that they patrolled the area (after the report from the public) but didn't say anything else about how they monitor. They just said "avoid using the trail over the next few days".
