Description:
Motor vehicle access is restricted from September 1 to October 6, 2026 on the Bow Valley Parkway between Johnston Canyon and its east entrance for the purpose of a reduced vehicle cycling experience.
To maintain certain services in the park, vehicle access is not restricted for Parks Canada staff and contractors, emergency services, utilities, and railway operators.
Johnston Canyon trailhead can be accessed by vehicle via Castle Junction.
