Aug 17, 2019 Rogers Camp Loop Trail Report

A bit overgrown here and there with one fallen tree across the trail at about the 6.5 mile mark clockwise. This is an active ATV and motorcycles area and I encountered them on logging roads that intersect the trail and in the staging area on the trailhead. There was also lots of rapid fire gunshots heard close for most of the ride, which was unnerving. Combined with the sections of clearcut, and steep rooty areas made this a not ideal trail — even with short sections of nice flow and some nice natural areas close to Gail Creek.
