Description:
Easy going for the first few ks up the FSR. Once you hit the single track, expect your speed to plummet. We estimated 20% rideable to the pass from this point. Progress slowed by steep gradient, mud and roots sections. Once up in the alpine/ sub-alpine, gets a bit more rideable until the final push up the goat track on scree to the saddle. Took us 4.5 hours including decent breaks and a packet of hobnobs to get to the pass. Probably as dry as ever at the moment. Thanks Craig and Ina for keeping this trail alive! (Descent well worth it...)
