Description:
Fantastic groomed fat biking. NU did a great job with their new groomer. Definitely need a true fat bike, a plus bike isn't going to cut it.
From Kings Nature preserve to the USFS lot is a little soft (ungroomed but packed down). From USFS lot to the first switchbacks are in great condition, packed and fast. Above that there was far less traffic and the trail was looser (5" fat bike had traction issues). Made it to the road crossing after the long rolling/twisty section on the climbers left (2 road crossings before 2nd switchback).
