Description:
The Smokejumper trail was mostly dirt for about 3/4 of a mile, then a pretty good mix of ice and dirt for about 1/2 mile. The remainder of the climb to the saddle was mostly ice and packed snow. Still need ice joggers or traction devices, but it's totally passable. The downed trees from last year have been cleared away.
