Moose Mountain's flowy jump trail, 7-27, not only creates smiles on the way down, but can be mixed in with Moose Mountain's cross country trails to head bak to the top for some fun and fast laps. On the way down, 7-27 is suitable for all types of bike and will help introduce riders to berms and jumps on a course that's enjoyable on many different skill levels and on different styles of bike. Once you hit the Sulpher Springs muliti-use Trail, your cardiovascular fitness comes into play as you get ready for the interesting at at times technical climb back to the top. While more physically demanding that riding your bike up the journey is a lot more fun. Park your vehicle at the 7-27 Start point, at the Moose Mountain road base and take Pnuema all the way up to start your day, or at the 7-27 end point to finish your day with a downhill.

Trail Pneuma
Awesome challenging uphill trail... way better than sucking up dust on the road... last downhill section to moosepackers will keep you on your toes ... extremely jagged rock sections.. pick your lines wisely... you do not want to eat it this far in

Never had more fun on a climb. Steep, rooted switchbacks and some tech climbing make this earn its black diamond status. If you spin circles, not pistons, then you’ll still have legs when you reach the top.

I rode down Hotlaps up Pneuma and it was awesome! Some good root features and awesome corners to practice on for me. The trail is in good condition. There is a bridge that is wide, but would recommend walking if you’re not comfortable with a big drop...there’s a quick climb after it as well so would get some speed to stay balanced and climb clean up.

I concur, this is one of the best technical climbing trails. Some people hate this trail and prefer to ride the gravel road. I prefer to ride this up to the top (past Special K), even if I have to push my bike up the boulders in a couple of small steep sections. Way better than sucking up gravel dust when trucks speed past you. The technical switchbacks are just awesome!

Trail Pneuma
A great climbing trail. The trail is consistently challenging but enjoyable up to the intersection with Special-K. After that it gets very rocky and is a little beyond my abilities as an intermediate rider. The very last section becomes a downhill that is very rocky and was beyond my comfort level at points, especially since I was riding alone.

Greasy and slimey at the bottom and various points on the way up. Back tyre typewritering all over the place on those roots!

An absolutely amazing trail both wet and dry. Fast and flowing, my favourite downhill trail so far.

Rode April 18th. Overall trail is in good shape with spots still shaded so some patches of ice and snow. DEEP snow at the compressor station.

Superb climbing trail. Don't suffer through Sulfur Springs or the road (shudder), take this up and you'll enjoy the climb almost as much as the ride down Race of Spades or Family Guy.

First half going up to 727 is nice and easy single track. After 727 gets a steeper and a tad more technical. Overall a great climb beats the road unless your shuttling!!

Where do you park your car? I am planning to go ride the down hill trails this weekend for the first time ever but don't know how I will climb up the hills with my santa cruz down hill bike once I have already gone down.

A great ride. They put a lot of work into building this trail.

When the trail ended at Sulphur Springs I took a left turn rolled/peddled back down to Hwy 1.
