There is a wasp nest in the log next to the “Rocky Python” sign just after the trail 11 exit. Anyone with a bee or wasp allergy should avoid. They swarm after every rider at the moment.

Rough and the vegetation creeps in in places. Stick to Trail 1 instead for the last bit to the finish.

Very rocky and rough. Real hard going on a hardtail. Hardly any flow at all. Just 40-50 bumpy minutes that loosened my front wheel.

After a few storms this week the trails are riding well. Rainforest trails may be slippery eg on the Link Trail. Not enough rain to make the creeks run, apart from the usual crossings on the town section of trails
