This route is the easiest way to descend the Mice. The first corner into the bridge on Rusty can be the most daunting part of the trail (focus on entering wide [to flatten out the corner] and put your tire in the middle of the nice wide bridge). On this route you will still encounter rocky sections (as Neverland transects squirrel and two rock gardens on Far Out and then two rocky zones on chipmunk). The rocky sections on Squirrel will be a challenge for beginner riders, but are low consequence and can easily be walked; the rock gardens on Far out are a great test to line choice and momentum and can be mastered easily if you find your line, and look ahead (and maybe throw in a ratchet or two). There is a challenging climb towards the end of Chipmunk that will force you to focus on cadence and traction... but after that little punchy bit it is all smooth sailing down to the KVR. At the end of this trail you will find a Kiosk and a ride over cattle guard, head south towards Penticton with a smile on your face

Please note that Neverland is considered a climb line, but due to the wide machine built tread it is a perfect way for riders newer to MTB to enjoy the Mice. Always remember that those climbing the trail have the RIGHT of WAY.

I rode this trail as a climb, wouldn’t call it a true green rating if the kettle valley Trail is rated green. I would say it’s more easy moderate with some rocky sections for sure and pretty good grunt a few sections.
