4 trees down on the upper 1/2. Wet and slippery and a little overgrown in some spots. Some thorny bushes that like to leave you a reminder your in their territory.

The WORST part on 5/17/2021 was: 1. The loose material near the forest service road crossings - pretty dangerous how loose the gravel and rocks are in those spots) and 2. Overgrown vegetation in a couple of places made the edges of the trail dangerous. Medium sized boulders are easily hidden under the overgrowth and could cause major situations. Trail is AWESOME though - 2000 foot climb in four miles was a GREAT exercise and the quick and robust downhill was exciting. The switchbacks at very top get really tricky! While hiking, and managing the more technical spots significant trail clearing was done as well - I moved rocks, large branches, etc...
