This is a loop I created to link together some of the various bits of singletrack around southern Bertrange and Roedgen. The emphasis was on making sure that the fun sections of singletrack are always ridden downhill, and using the local roads, paved bike paths, and gravel farm roads for all the climbing. The route is in a rough figure 8 shape, and both loops are best ridden counter-clockwise.

Takes roughly an hour to an hour and a half to complete, and gives you a very scenic tour of the communes to the west of Luxembourg city. There is street parking off of Rue De Foret in Bertrange, located across from the City Concorde shopping center.

Detailed Description

Bertrange Roedgren Loop is a 11 mile less popular easy route located near Strassen. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route climbs 1,036 ft with a max elevation of 1,151 ft then descends -1,032 ft.
