Great trail, especially when followed with “Boss Tweed”, really enjoyed the variety.

Fun trail for experienced riders. First third of the trail is steep and technical. Rest of the trail is super flowy, have to commit to some turns but overall not to challenging.

This trail looks fun, but trust me there are much better options at copper city. Steep switchbacks while descending and climbing. Be careful because this trail is right next to the entrance to motherload, because we were trying to ride motherload and ended up riding this trail.

We had planned to ride the Bridger and Bangtail Ridge trails over labor day weekend but the fire made that impossible. We hit Hyalite trails in Bozeman one day and decided to try out Copper City the other day. It is pretty close to Bozeman, not a bad drive. There trails are fun, very different terrain, etc from Bozeman. Stunning views, nice pump track too. Definitely worth checking out, but bring water and food as it is isolated.

A must ride trail system if you are traveling through the area.

We tried riding up Boss Tweed after coming down Trident but didn’t have the legs so we opted for the road. Next time we will go down Boss Tweed for sure.

The switchbacks at the top are no joke.

Steep and technical at the top, just keep your butt over the back wheel and everything is fine. This transitions into fast, big berms that are in better shape than Neversweat (less rutted out), there is one corkscrew that goes through a gully that you have to commit to for speed, as it is steep enough on either side that you'd eat it without speed. Very fast, very fun, worth multiple laps.

Trail Neversweat
Excellent jump line. The berms are in great shape, lips are perfect, speed is very easy to calculate while riding alone. The landings are a bit flat on some of the longer jumper. Just a bit harsh on 2 of the jumps.
The top section is pretty beat, lots of loose fist size rocks, but absolutely worth it for the lower jump lines. The ravine gap is very nicely built. Nice long straight landing in case you over shoot it, a little flat but it felt good.

Trail Neversweat
This trail has a little bit of everything. It starts off steep and technical rocks and turns and opens up into fast and flowy berms with plenty of jumps. There’s a pretty burly ravine gap that I would love to hit some day, but for the time being it’s very well labeled which way to go if you’re a pus like me. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! Definitely worth a couple laps!

Trail Neversweat
Like it said, its legit, and its definitely an advanced expert trail, with the only place that would be somewhat comparable in the Bozeman area being Big Sky. Its a pretty quick climb from the trailhead, though it does get a little more technical (but totally manageable) as you get onto the ridge. The trail itself goes from really slow tech up top to really fast, flowy downhill burms and jumps, some of which are pretty freakin big, there's even a ravine gap if you've got the stones for it! (I didn't, maybe I'll try it someday) That being said, I never felt like I needed a DH bike, but I would definitely recommend a full face helmet, though you don't need one. Its a super fun trail thats absolutely worth a couple laps, though its definitely not for the faint of heart.

Probably closed for the season. Please avoid riding - all of the north facing sections are muddy and/or snow covered. Unlikely to dry out before late winter or earl spring. reporter
