Good dry doubletrack, mostly gravel. First 600m from Champlain is moderately steep uphill.

It's likely going to open soon as there was obvious trail maintenance going on I saw a Bobcat and there was freshly mowed sections on the trail and looks like they were filling in ruts etc. There was one puddle a few inches deep that looks like it will dry quickly.

Trail Trail #32
Probably best to stay off this trail until all the muddy sections dry out - it's pretty messy in spots. The trail starting from Fortune Road starts with a difficult rockface that is really tough and had to walk it. The rest of the trail has some technical climbs and several rock/root gardens with pretty big rocks. Good sections of downhill and the muddy sections are not good - they really need to dry out. I would likely give this route a black diamond although maybe riding it the other way when dry might be less difficult. You will end up at Camp Fortune where you can grab the 14 up to the 1.

This is my go to trail if I need to warm up my legs and just pedal on nice easy terrain but the climbs are definitely lung busters and make your legs feel a bit heavy after. Best way to ride this trail is to start at Keogan and then head towards Champlain and the double back on the 1 all the way to chemin Old Chelsea.

Not so sure about the black diamond rating but there are a few tricky spots. This is likely one of the best and smoothest trails in the park. If you start form Trail 1 it has a few short, steep climbs then the terrain just becomes fun. It has a roller coaster feel of short ups and a series of smooth, fast downs that will leave a smile on your face. This a a newly opened trail picked from a list of possibles and I think it was a brilliant choice. There is a temporary closure sign on it although I cannot figure out why since the trail was dry with one puddle.

Great trail with good flow. IMHO was not super techy and would therefore question the black rating relative to some other trails in the park.
