High Point

Main outer loop for a quick blast through the Ponderosa Pine and Gambel Oak trees. This is a fairly easy loop without much climbing or any technical areas that can be completed in 1-2 hours. Great introduction to riding in the Flagstaff area with a good representation of smooth hard-pack littered with rocky sections that give your suspension a workout. This ride is perfect for any kind of mountain bike, from hard-tail cross-country to a full-suspension trail or all-mountain bike. There are a few other loops if you want to switch it up, or add some little loops into the mix.

This trail system is popular with hikers, but the majority of them seem to stick to Continental Loop, so that is purposefully left out of this route. Continental is also an option for bikes, just know that you'll have more traffic. Always be respectful and careful.
