It is a steep, technical climb. I rode it right after the snow melted so it needed a bit of work. Definitely worth the downhill though, it was fantastic. The views are incredible as well

Trail Dry Fork
I've ridden this trail twice going downhill after climbing Big Springs Hallow - definitely more of an adventure trip than a fun ride - very steep and rocky, thigh the entire route was rideable. Last time I was up there hiking (spring of 2015) an avalanche debris field had covered the entire trail.

This trail is quite steep and technical in several places on the way up, but it's a beautiful area. The rocks and dirt were very dry and loose, and I was having some trouble getting enough traction ( I rideTrail King 2.4 tires at 20psi). The trail is in great shape and it's definitely a good ride if you enjoy some fairly steep, loose climbs.
