Steep with big rocks makes this a difficult hike. I have never heard of anyone riding their mountain bike on this, but it is the best way to get to the Cascade Mountain Summit. Dirt bikes are legal on this trail, and it is gnarly.

I've ridden this trail twice going downhill after climbing Big Springs Hallow - definitely more of an adventure trip than a fun ride - very steep and rocky, thigh the entire route was rideable. Last time I was up there hiking (spring of 2015) an avalanche debris field had covered the entire trail.
