A Staple ride in Folsom, offering a little bit of everything for the cross country rider. Beginning at Econome Park riding along paved trails to the June Cash trail at Folsom Lake to paved trails to the unsanctioned Prison Break where you'll be challenged with drops and rutted lines in some sections. One at Natoma Lake, you ride the unsanctioned trails on the north side, with a challenging climbing up to the top of the bluffs and rewarded with great views of the lake and bridges. Once at Nimbus Dam you enjoy another great, and fast trail to the Johnny Cash trail, June Cash Trail then back to the start. Best flow is counter clockwise, but is fun in either direction.
Detailed Description
CD-Eco-Natomas Loop is a 22 mile popular intermediate route located near Folsom California. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 4 trails. This route climbs 1,180 ft with a max elevation of 536 ft then descends -1,156 ft.
