Great ride for beginners. Some uphill and downhill switchbacks and 3-4 little tiny rock and root gardens that will test them. Be aware that this route kinda flies in the face of the, from my experience, more normal counterclockwise direction. We did it in the afternoon, so traffic was light…but in the morning it might be more of a concern.

The trail itself isn’t really hard, but a lot of sections are narrow and if you mess up, it’ll be a while before you stop down the fairly steep hillside. Not for the faint hearted. I don’t think it should be a blue honestly.

Shoreline trail is for beginners. This is for advanced beginners or people who ride easy blue trails. A real blast though!
