Trail South Fork Rim
I think we're doing a disservice to the development of high level mountain biking in Alaska by consistently rating trails as more difficult than they really are - compared to trails in the rest of North America.

Trail Middle Fork
Don’t forget legally only tires 3.5 or wider are allowed.

SWEET upgrade from the original. DON"T recommend going for the KOM on this one....it's such a benign trail which is very popular with hikers/runners. Not worth pissing off our fellow user group, which we want on our side.
I would highly recommend downgrading this from a Blue to a Green. There is really nothing to it....apart from the physicality of getting to the trailhead (if you don't shuttle), and the flat to off camber corners can be tricky if you're bombing it.

Fantastic trail!!! This is another gem for anchorage. Gets the heart rate up, sweat pumping. I can understand why hikers don’t like sharing it though. When a group of 6 bikers come cooking downhill fast, and yell at you to move outta the way, it definitely puts a bad taste in your mouth (other than the dust). Overall great trail, just needs some better mannered riders on it.

Trail South Fork Rim
Correction on the access information. If you are coming down Powerline, it is the 2nd trail on the right. The first trail on the right as you come down is Blueberry Hollow which is closed to bikes year-round.

Rode it in the reverse direction. Pretty good conditions on 3/24/2018 other than section between williwaw and power line
