There is one small tree down in the first mile that’s probably 12” diameter, just a bit too big for the trail saw. There are two logs across the trail about 3-3.25mi from the TH that will need a chainsaw. One is very rotted and probably 30” diameter. The other is fresher wood and probably 24”. They are probably 1/4mi apart. Turned around d at the upper meadow (4mi), but it was fully clear of snow to that point. Some hikers reported there was a hit of snow in the last section of woods near the summit, but no more significant downed trees. All in all, quite stellar. | Ideal | view | |||

The first couple miles were not too bad, but the cliimbing certainly became more challenging. The last maybe two miles were pretty tough, and I just hiked the bike when I needed, depending on my HR...hit a seasonal PR on my max HR, I can say that! | Dry | view | |||
