Start at Raptor Hill Trailhead. One of the most difficult trail features is at the start, so be ready to boost up some rock steps. Continue up Raptor hill and take a left on Bones. It is a rocky trail with a couple challenging climbs, and well maintained wash crossings - almost paved with rocks. Beautiful views, plant and wildlife all around. Bones eventually turns into reclaimed double-track and joins up with Rust Bucket. Navigate down to Thumper and enjoy a great trail with switchbacks, small drops and a short but extremely nice flow section before joining up with Lime Kiln. Lime Kiln is an old Wagon route with lots of little boulders and drops to hop off of. Super fun trail. When it starts to get Gnarly, watch out for hikers as they may be coming up from the park. Drops, loose rock and fast downhills await. Take the trail back to the lagoon or you can explore the trails heading back to the campgrounds to the right.
