The Beast’s best mate misses out the extra loop back at the start, but still fits in all the best bits from Big Doug onwards. A stunning 31.km day route with everything from super techy rock sections and ripping descents to stunning mountain views.

The hard start leaves you under no illusions that your skills better be up to scratch, but then leads you into the sublime DreamTime where the flow feels so easy, you’ll be day dreaming about this throughout the weeks daily grind
Big Dough leads you through the towering Douglas Firs, the Kings of Coed y Brenin. Ride Hermon as fast as you dare, before the big climb to the highest point in the forest. The five sections of downhill fun on the Adams Family reward you for all your efforts.

Dragons Back is a 19 mile popular red route located near Dogellau. This mountain bike primary route. This route includes 19 trails. This route climbs 2,961 ft with a max elevation of 1,326 ft then descends -2,951 ft.
