High Point

A regular loop in the Reno area with a fun descent on the North side. Keep speed low and manageable to avoid multi-use conflicts. Lots of hikers.

I wish more riders would ride it in the recommended direction shown on the Trailforks map. Up Whites Creek and down Thomas Creek. Rode it today at 6am to avoid hikers and ran into MTBs pedaling up Thomas Crk. I yielded to them tough I wanted to continue my flow.

Crowded for the first mile with hikers, thins out after the Dry Pond trail junction. Very fun to descend from the top. Would advise a bell since it's heavily trafficked. A couple trail re-routes puts you on the fire road for no more than 100 yards.
