The Forest Path Loop is a fun seven mile mountain bike route that includes a wide variety of single and double track trails throughout the Houghton's Pond section of Blue Hills Reservation. It includes a number of punchy climbs, fun downhills, as well as a lot of fast and flowy sections. As this is a multi-use park, please be aware of other trail users, always yield to other trail users, and say hello. It is a one directional loop and must be ridden counter clockwise. The route starts out of the Houghton's Pond main parking area, uphill along the Headquarters path for a short while and then right onto Bugbee Path. It returns to the same parking lot via the trail below Houghton's Pond. Follow the white triangle blazes on the trail.
Detailed Description
Forest Path Loop - Intermediate is a 7 mile moderately popular intermediate route located near Milton Massachusetts. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 24 trails. This route climbs 422 ft with a max elevation of 369 ft then descends -425 ft.
