Get your hands ready, this one rocks them This is the common shuttle route for Haflin Creek, a long, steep, and loose descent that will punish those not ready.

This route starts with a mellower singletrack climb eventually to the road, but people can choose to climb the road if that is their preferred method.

This also shows the way to the "Towers" which has a nice view of surrounding peaks. A shorter entrance below Haflin can be used but you miss an additional fast chunky descent.

There is limited parking (10 cars) in the lower Haflin lot, especially on weekends, so pedaling CR250 back to around Bread Bakery or Durango Sports Club will be a better place for park for shuttles. Upper lot has significant parking for 20+ vehicles.
