Cruise downhill and then kill yourself riding up fire roads. Totally worth it though.

We did this loop over the weekend. Getting to the top where Middle Ridge tails starts wasn't bad. Actually we took Flat Frog most of the way to Hobbs road and that was fun trail. Middle Ridge was blast!! If you like steep, technical, and long this is a must ride. We made a mistake by not riding all the way down to take China Hole back to the parking lot. We took Poverty Flat road instead, and that was awful! Super steep fire road cover with deep sand. So even if you could ride the steep hills, it was impossible cause of the sand. Not sure how much more easy it would have been taking China Hole, but I would not try that again!

The park is closed!! Due to SCU Lighting Fire. We drove all the way from SF thinking it was open since we didn't see anything reports on here.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!

Narrow singletrack, mostly straight, but through some gorgeous areas. Nothing bermed, no features. This is a 'blue' trail except for some very punchy climbs which are tough on an acoustic bike, good for an e-bike. Rode in mid-jan so the dirt is excellent, in summer i'm sure it's very loose.
