This intermediate route covers 9 miles and just under 1000ft of elevation. Starting at the Shitaka Lot, this route climbs the Sand Hole trail, then follows Beautiful across the ridge where you will encouter a few challenging rock gardens. Continue to ride, following both sections of Chicken Peter. Climb Kettle Rd for a bit, then descend on the Peep Trail. Follow Coopers Gap Rd to Shitaka and ride Shitaka back to the parking lot.

Intermediate Loop is a 9 mile popular intermediate route located near State College Pennsylvania. This mountain bike only route and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 6 trails. This route climbs 1,044 ft with a max elevation of 1,982 ft then descends -1,055 ft.
