From the AT parking lot at Pine Grove Furnace, cross 233 up Old Shippensburg Rd and hang a right down what looks like a driveway to some nearby cabins. From there, enjoy some gentle winding singletrack that runs along the creek. Cross the creek a the intersection and stay right up Valley Hook Trail. Take the second right, then left up Valley Traverse. In the summertime the bushes can get a little overgrown here. Once a little higher the trail gets a bit rocky, but you'll escape on the Connector Trail and cross Centerville Rd and follow a driveway to reach the rest of the trail. Its smooth uphill from here but once you reach the top you'll be rewarded with mostly downhill flow the rest of the way. Once on Traverse Hook West, cross Buck Ridge trail and hang another right at the intersection. Hop off Throttle at LT and cross Leeper Farm Road to reach Leaf Trail. Lots of nice twisty singletrack with two punchy climbs toward the end. Leaf Trail Road is the easier option on the second climb but its all downhill back to the parking lot making this a fun finish.
