Note: With the passage of the Columbine-Hondo Wilderness bill on December 19, 2014, the Wheeler Peak Wilderness boundary was redrawn so the section of this ride that was within the wilderness boundary is now legally rideable.
Detailed Description
Lost Lake Loop is a 13 mile less popular expert route located near Red River New Mexico. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a hard overall physical rating. This route climbs 2,246 ft with a max elevation of 11,549 ft then descends -2,275 ft.

I've never ridden it clockwise, but I'm fairly certain that counter-clockwise is the obvious better direction in every sense. Someone who's ridden it both ways is free to correct me if I'm wrong here.
