This is a very basic beginner oriented loop that stays down in the canyon. It starts at the east end of the canyon and goes to the west end staying on the north side and then returning via the south side. Plenty of fire roads that will keep a beginner from having to be too concerned about maintaining a line. It has just enough single track in it to challenge a beginner and even a spot or two they may have to walk. There are several water bridges between the east and west end so if you get a beginner in over their head and this loop is easily shortened.

LPQ Basic Beginner Loop is a 10 mile popular easy route located near San Diego California. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 3 trails. This route climbs 323 ft with a max elevation of 247 ft then descends -329 ft.
