This hike begins with a nice climb through a forest with mountain laurel, boulders, and ledge, a stretch along the beautiful Mashapaug Pond and the last leg features enormous glacial boulders.

Mashapaug View Loop is a 5 mile popular intermediate route located near Union Connecticut. This hike only route. This route includes 2 trails. This route climbs 557 ft with a max elevation of 899 ft then descends -561 ft.
