Great little loop that's easy to get to, has downhill in all the right places, and great views over the canyon if you go out to any of the spurs.

Mini Walnut Loop is a 16 mile popular intermediate route located near Flagstaff Arizona. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 13 trails. This route climbs 1,010 ft with a max elevation of 7,035 ft then descends -995 ft.

Ride this clockwise. 100%. Super fast XC loop with a bit of tech. Nothing today’s XC bikes can’t handle. Have fun out there!

Rode clockwise. Do NOT ride as suggested. Clockwise = type 1 fun!

Do not take the "shortcut" off the connector trail that goes by the water source; stay on trail. I rode this counterclockwise and feel it could have been more fun clockwise as the one technical section you have to hike up would have been fun to ride down for more of a challenge. Little dissatisfied on how much Forest Road riding there is in this loop.
