The FR up to the top is FINALLY fixed so it's possible to drive up and the FS has done massive amounts of clearing. 2 years ago most of the oaks were diseased and ready to die. So many of the diseased tree branches have been cut off and dead trees cut down. The whole place looks fantastic now and the trail is running fast and clear.
