Access via the Oakoasis County Preserve parking area just off Wildcat Canyon Road. The parking is open from 8AM to sunset.
This lollipop loop gives visitors a plate that's loaded with everything that the Oakoasis County Preserve has to offer. This is an excellent hike for challenging a novice hiker while still providing fun for the experienced trekkers. The trail is well maintained and can be hiked in either direction. Expect some steep slopes in some areas - a few sections are over 20 percent grade. The entire route is just over 2.5 miles which will take the fastest hikers about an hour to complete. Do not miss the scenic overlook. For those who want to add some mileage take an opportunity to explore the sections of the Trans-county Trail. Bring plenty of water, a snack and a camera.
