Penn cave loop is a one way trail heading up Trail 8 across to Penn Station then down Cave trail.It is a 3.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail on the Canfield Mountain Trail system.

Detailed Description
Penn Cave Loop is a 4 mile popular intermediate route located near Coeur d'Alene Idaho. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 2 trails. This route climbs 993 ft with a max elevation of 3,297 ft then descends -994 ft.

    Both trail 8 and cave are rutted out with motorcycles being the reason. The trail is extremely dry and dusty. These trails will need some work soon.
