This is a great easy walking and bike route. The trail climbs up through the fields until it splits in the forest to head out to a great overlook of the Palouse. Following the loop around back to the intersection in a clockwise direction and you can continue down the route you climbed up.
This route starts and ends at the Idler's Rest Nature Preserve owned and managed by the Palouse Land Trust. Other hiking trails exist in the preserve.
This trail has been provided by the landowner in collaboration with Moscow Area Mountain Bike Association and the Palouse Land Trust.
