Mix of road with next to zero cars, double and singletrack through peaceful valleys. Not many surface problem areas, you could do it on many bike types. This is a good loop for a morning or afternoon workout, very nice when the Arrowleaf Balsamroot bloom during the spring. Water up, it is hot and exposed in the summer until you get to the canyon descent. A side trip up to the Pipestone Rim overlook is a nice extra grunt. Watch out for rattlesnakes as the weather heats up.
Detailed Description
Pipestoned Loop is a 12 mile popular intermediate route located near Twisp Washington. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 4 trails. This route climbs 1,211 ft with a max elevation of 3,129 ft then descends -1,222 ft.

trail was in great condition for late fall early winter. Dirt was perfect with very little standing water or mud

Best to stay on the gravel roads. The single track part starting from “Unknown” is to overgrown you literally cannot see the trail most of the time.
