Starting from the Crescent Mountain, North/South Pyramid Trailhead this loop was done clockwise. See Oregon Endurance Mountain Biking for original route and expanded version. A good majority of this loop is loamy with only a few areas of chunder. See individual trail descriptions for more information. Would make a good bikepacking loop if you don't mind climbing with a loaded bike. Water sources for filtering are roughly at miles 8 and 23.

Detailed Description
Pyramids Loop is a 27 mile popular expert unsanctioned route located near Sweet Home Oregon. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 8 trails. This route climbs 7,216 ft with a max elevation of 5,289 ft then descends -7,206 ft.

    Lots of blowdown. We made it to within a mile of the top where there were so many down trees the trail became impassable. This trail is in serious need of some TLC.
