An endurance-style cross country mountain bike race with a 25 mile race which is a single lap of this loop, or a 50 mile race which is two laps "A bit rough, Red Lodge style", this course has a bit of everything: machine built berms, hand built directional downhill trail, and modern climbing trails all built with volunteer hands and dollars by Beartooth Trails, but also classic USFS singletrack, and even a short but punishing hike-a-bike.

Rough Cut 2025 Loop is a 24 mile intermediate race route located near Red Lodge Montana. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 9 trails. This route climbs 4,500 ft with a max elevation of 8,232 ft then descends -4,484 ft.
