High Point

This route starts out with a three mile push for a mortal man. Once you reach the Alpine trail it doesn't take long to see why this is a black diamond, with technical steeps and equally challenging short ups for 1 1/2 miles to the Hall Lake trail. Take a right and the trail keeps up with it's engaging narrow technical nature for about 5 miles to the creek crossing. Once across the creek the trail starts to open up and turns into a fast-flowing ripper to the end.

Very good condition for this trail. Best it's been in years after the work that's been done on it.

Clear from Sixmile junction to the Hall lake trail. Brush not bad except for a few short sections. reporter
