Jun 19, 2026 @ 5:19pm (America/Denver) Jun 19, 2026 | Alpine 7 from Six-mile to Hall still has minor patches of snow and about 8 trees across. The rest of the loop is cleared and perfect! | Ideal | view
Jun 18, 2026 @ 6:34pm (America/Denver) Jun 18, 2026 | FAMB Trail Crew has cleared all obstructing trees (66 of them) up to the A7 intersection! There are two rootball holes created by falling trees just above the two switchbacks (around mile 3.2 from the bottom), but they are ridable with caution. | Variable | view
Aug 30, 2025 @ 3:13pm Aug 30, 2025 | 4 or 5 trees down in the lower half. The upper section above the lake is epic where it’s been brushed out up to the alpine trail. Overall pretty good. Fun and techy. | Variable | view
Aug 17, 2025 @ 10:55am Aug 17, 2025 | Clear of deadfall and brush is manageable by local standards. Steep trail to ride though! Definitely not a blue square climb, so don’t be fooled. Still seems like a better option than climbing Hall Lake which is super techy. A7 to Hall Lake is brushy (and real techy) but mostly manageable. | Ideal | view
Aug 17, 2025 @ 10:55am Aug 17, 2025 | Running pretty good and FAMB’s recent brushing was a huge help. Pretty rocky rooty and rowdy trail in spots but fun if that’s your bag. One tree down and some muddy sections in bottom 1/3. | Ideal | view
Jul 24, 2025 @ 1:25pm Jul 24, 2025 | Rode 7/19. I removed about 6 trees. 3-5 remain that require a saw. Otherwise the trail is rippin. Rode out and back to A7 | Ideal | view
Jul 12, 2025 @ 7:43am Jul 12, 2025 | FAMB Trail Crew spent 4 full days brushing the (almost) mile of trail between A7 and Hall Lake spur. The brush was double overhead in some places! Some volunteers brushed below the lake in small sections, clearing out what was probably the worst of it. Trail is clear and riding great! | Dry | view
Jun 29, 2025 @ 6:56pm Jun 29, 2025 | There are about 6 trees across and you can barely ride the trail due to brush. | Dry | view
Jun 6, 2025 @ 7:30am Jun 6, 2025 | FAMB cleared obstructing trees and cleaned drains up to snow line at the Alpine 7 intersection. We brushed some of the worst sections for sight lines and face-whackers. A7 to Hall Lake will take a few more weeks to melt out, several feet of snow remain. | Ideal | view
Jul 31, 2024 @ 4:08am Jul 31, 2024 | Brushy | Dry | view

Jul 17, 2024 @ 2:56am Jul 17, 2024 | ebike 3 or 4 trees across trail and the upper section is very brushy | Dry | view
Jun 23, 2024 @ 2:20pm Jun 23, 2024 | Still snowy from six mile to hall junction | Snow Covered | view
Oct 9, 2023 @ 9:04pm Oct 9, 2023 | Trail is in amazing shape after being mostly brushed out. Hopefully it can be finished next year. | Dry | view
Sep 8, 2023 @ 12:19pm Sep 8, 2023 | The FAMB Trail Crew has spent the last 3 weeks straight brushing this trail. Some sections were horrible, some were manageable. We cleared a few downed logs and improved sight lines, finishing about 0.1 miles up from the Hall Lake spur. A total of 4.1 miles of trail brushed! We also cleared drains and improved some of the wet sections below the creek crossing near the bottom. | Ideal | view
Sep 2, 2023 @ 10:34am Sep 2, 2023 | Great day in the mountains after several inches of rain to trail entire region. Ran into FAMB trail workers who had been working hard and doing great work cutting back the brush on the Hall descent, thanks FAMB! | Ideal | view
Jul 20, 2023 @ 4:38am Jul 20, 2023 | I’ve ridden this trail for 20 years. It’s the most brushy I’ve seen it. | Dry | view

Jul 25, 2022 @ 8:52am Jul 25, 2022 | we followed 3 dirt bikers that were clearing the trail from 6 mile to the wire trail. we had to turn back after about 4 miles because we were running out of time and there was a decent blow down there, but they seemed determined to get it done and had extra gas. can say for sure it's clear up to 4 mile south of the 6 mi trail and probably all the way to wire. | Dry | view

Jul 25, 2022 @ 8:45am Jul 25, 2022 | Two trees down between the lake and alpine 7, otherwise clear of trees. Lots of brush hiding lurking rocks and obstacles, keeps it exciting and slow | Dry | view
Jul 25, 2022 @ 8:42am Jul 25, 2022 | Dry | view
Jul 19, 2021 @ 4:25pm Jul 19, 2021 | Dirt biker told us he cleared some trees and rode the trail on July 13. | Variable | view
Sep 21, 2020 @ 6:17pm Sep 21, 2020 | FAMB Brushed 1.5 miles from the scree section down to the logging unit (with some spot brushing on our way back to the trailhead). MCC brushed from the lake to Alpine 7. FAMB also cleared an additional 11 trees between the trailhead and where the trail turns to scree (about 2.3 miles up). This work was completed 9/16-9/18. Cheers! reporter | Dry | view
Sep 8, 2020 @ 9:43am Sep 8, 2020 | All clear from sixmile to trinkus lake. Recent trail work in spots of clear brush and fresh dirt work. Amazing views and fun trail. Be prepared to work for it but well worth effort. Recommend wire dh over bond as brush on bond is very bad. | Dry | view |
