If you love riding a slight gradient for miles on a narrow single track with plenty of greenery this is the ultimate ride . Because at some point you're going to turn around. And head downhill. The scenery is awesome. Idealview

Should be noted that this trail is open to dirt bikes also, so expect more loose rock and ruts than on a pure non-moto trail. Otherwise dry and generally clear, overgrown in spots. Dryview

Dry and clear, great riding shape. Large moose carcass right next to trail in between creek crossings on the Gibson side. Dryview

A small patch of snow near the gate at the top with mud. Top 3/4 mile of the trail is rutted from water run off. Otherwise good to go. Wetview

A few snow drifts need walking through. Trail is dusty in the sun and dry in the trees aside from spotty snow. Totally passable but I’d give it another couple weeks. Variableview

hike Lower trail wide and sides mowed. New bridges across the creeks. Trail to Elk Meadows is single track, plants and grasses are tall and fall into the trail. Dryview

trailrun Minor erosion (trail braiding, small ruts developing, brake bumps)
typical overgrown vegetation isn't a big deal. however, about .50 above the bridge over North Fork of Gibson, the trail is (was) covered with grass and under that grass, part of the trail has eroded (gibson mountain side). im sure a few bikers have hit it and ended up on the ground. it sent me flying when i hit it while running. i tore out the grass that was hidingthe trail, but still a hazard to watch out for.
